Laurel Ridge PTA
What is the PTA?
Laurel Ridge Parent Teacher Association is really YOUR PTA - a local chapter of the national organization whose main role is to build strong working relationships among parents, teachers, and schools, in support of students.
This can include recruiting and coordinating volunteers, providing special recognition in awards ceremonies, or through other activities, organizing parent education events, planning teacher appreciation activities, and much more.

Who Can Participate?
All LRES families, teachers, and staff are welcome & needed for our PTA to be successful!
There are 4 general PTA membership meetings each year, open to ALL of our LRES community, not just dues-paying members.
PTA organized events are also open to all of our LRES students and families, regardless of PTA membership status.

The Laurel Ridge Elementary School PTA strives to build every child's potential by connecting and engaging families and facilitating a love of lifelong learning while celebrating the school's diversity and uniqueness to the community.

What we do:
Our job as the PTA is to advocate on behalf of our students, and to make their experience and our teachers’ jobs more enjoyable, enriching, and rewarding.
Our goal is not to simply fundraise but to support Laurel Ridge and our teachers by providing our students with the best learning environment possible. We also encourage a sense of community among our Laurel Ridge families.

Getting involved with PTA gives parents an opportunity to engage with one another while ensuring that Laurel Ridge is an outstanding school!

Parents and Teachers are encouraged to join the Laurel Ridge Elementary PTA. Together we can build and support every child's potential, engage families, facilitate a love of lifelong learning, and celebrate our community's diversity.

We are involved in so many things at Laurel Ridge and need the support and participation of all of our families to be successful! We have created a brief volunteer survey to give you an idea of the volunteer opportunities available. We have also created a volunteer page so you can browse all the parent groups and committees we have at Laurel Ridge. There is a place for you!
