• Information and applying for Free & Reduced meals, including an eligibility and walk-through video, are available here.

• School Cafe is used by DCSD for online meal payments to students school meal accounts.

• Here is the parents guide to School Cafe.

• School Cafe allows parents to add money to their children’s school meal account using a credit or debit card. Once an account is established, parents can check balances and fund their children’s accounts online via their secure website. 

• Students use their DCSD Student ID# at checkout to pay through their account.

• In addition to School Cafe account the school also accepts cash and money order as forms of payment: money order should be made out to Laurel Ridge Elementary. (Personal checks not accepted).

• LRES families are invited to join their students for the annual Thanksgiving luncheon & Loved Ones breakfast.

• Parents are welcome to send or bring birthday treats for their child's class at lunchtime.

• No glass containers or sodas allowed in packed lunches.

• Students do not have access to refrigerator or microwave.

• LRES is not a nut-free campus, although nut-free tables are organized as needed. Please inform teacher or administration if your child has an allergy and they will work with you.

• Lunchtimes vary by grade and class, check with your child's teacher for time.
