Good News: Staff Lounge Summer Refresh

This summer, our PTA set out to give our amazing LRES staff a refreshed lounge space- and with a little budget, some big heart, and community support, we made it happen! 

Freshly painted cabinets, a cozy new seating area with a sofa and chairs, and a modern high-top dining table with stools (generously donated by LRES parent Meredith Roman and her design company) have completely transformed the space. Artwork and plants helped warm things up, and we have even more ideas to roll out over the year, so stay tuned!

The best part? Our staff is over the moon about the updates. This project is such a great reminder that when we come together with time, energy, and creativity, small changes can make a big difference.

To keep the good vibes going, our Staff Engagement Committee also hosted a “Stock the Staff Lounge” drive, filling the cabinets with snacks, coffee, and sodas to keep our staff fueled and feeling the love. Huge thanks to everyone who chipped in, and to Corporate Environments for the table and chair donation!
